The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) is a professional body dedicated to the promotion, facilitation and determination of disputes by arbitration, mediation and conciliation. The Institute provides education and training programs for potential and practising arbitrators, panel of arbitrators and mediators with expertise in specific fields and an appointment and nomination service of suitably qualified persons to act as arbitrators, mediators and expert witnesses.
